Is it common for people to dislike the color green? I really want to like it but it looks gross to me
Main Post:
It looks fine to me on things which are organically green (ie plants, nature, etc), but something like a green bowtie just looks so gross to me. I don’t mind navy greens or dark pastel type greens though. Is this a commonly disliked color? Can someone help me snap out of this dilemma haha I want to learn to love green
Top Comment: I feel like every color has an ugly shade. Just have to pick which green you like, unless you don't like all of them. You're not really obligated to like it either anyways.

Is there a green color with the name similar to “vermilion”?
Main Post:
So last week my mom and I visited the Vermillion Cliffs on Navajo Nation land, and to our surprise the cliffs are a gorgeous deep scarlet red, even for me, a colorblind person.
Absolutely beautiful, for sure. But we always thought vermilion was a name for a green color of some sort. I couldn’t find much online to support this, so are we just kinda dumb?
My only other thought is the ver- prefix is used in romance languages for green; verde, vert, berdea, verd, verda, etc.
Edit: All of the different words that have something to do with green and have “ver” in it have made me realize I’m not stupid, thanks y’all

What are some other types of tea similar to sencha green tea?
Main Post:
I have tried lots of supermarket green tea bags with different variations like lemon etc. I don’t really like any of them. Now I have started drinking sencha green tea from tea leaves after discovering it at Wagamamas!
Are there any other green tea types that are similar in taste to sencha that are different from standard green tea?
Top Comment: If the only teas you've had so far are Sencha and flavored tea bags it may be worth trying some good quality loose leaf Chinese green teas as well. You may find something else you like.
Amazing movies like these
Main Post:
I've seen tons of great movies in the last 7 years and ive found out about these again today: HER, green book, three billboards outside ebbing, missouri. These are all amazing movies with an amazing atmosphere, cinematography, setting and just everything on it and altough they are not similar, they feel really similar. Are there any other movies like these three?

Cheaper alternative to Pretty Green?
Main Post:
I’m an American Oasis fan, who enjoys some British style. I own some Pretty Green clothing, but I don’t order much because it’s kind of expensive. Are there similar brands in the UK that are cheaper? I also like Fred Perry, Penguin, Cast No Shadow, Alvaro, but I’m hoping there are some brands that I haven’t heard of. I like Pretty Green’s printed shirts, and outerwear. Thanks in advance!
Top Comment: Lambretta have some nice stuff.
Audiobooks similar to Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey
Main Post:
This was the first audiobook that I’ve ever read, and it was a much more enjoyable experience than I ever thought it would be. It was so nice to have a picture painted in your head while having to do nothing other than sit back and relax.
This book was amazing, and I was sad when it ended. I really just chose this book due to its popularity, but now I want something to listen to that’s similar to it. Any recommendations?
